Turn conversations into actions.
A conversation is only useful if something happens afterwards. Automations let agents trigger approved workflows: create records, book appointments, notify people, and ask for approval before anything sensitive.
Example conversation. Illustrative; not a transcript from a live system.
- Customer: I'd like a quote for 40 seats on the annual plan.
- Agent: Happy to arrange that. Can I take your company name and work email so our team can send the quote?
- Customer: Northwind Traders, ops@northwind.example.
- Agent: Thanks. I've created a lead for Northwind Traders (40 seats, annual) and notified the sales team. Someone will follow up by email.
Samvaad Automations
Turn conversations into actions.
What an automation does
An automation is a sequence of steps that runs when an agent reaches a trigger: a lead is qualified, an appointment is requested, a ticket needs creating. Each step calls a tool you have authorized, and the result is recorded against the conversation.
Examples
Collect a lead and create a CRM record. Schedule an appointment and send a confirmation. Create a support ticket. Notify a team member. Retrieve information from an approved API. Request human approval before a refund, cancellation or other sensitive action.
Human approval steps
Any step can be gated behind a person. The agent prepares the action, a team member approves or rejects it, and the agent relays the outcome. This keeps people in control of consequential decisions.
Tool authorization
Agents can only call tools you've explicitly connected, with the permissions you've granted. Each tool call is logged with its inputs and outputs for review.
The workflow diagram on this page is illustrative. Automations are configured with our team during deployment; a self-serve drag-and-drop builder is not currently offered.

Questions about Samvaad Automations.
- Can we build workflows ourselves?
- Workflows are currently configured with our team as part of deployment. A self-serve builder is not offered today; we'd rather say so than show a mockup.
- What stops the agent from doing something it shouldn't?
- Agents can only call tools you've authorized. Sensitive actions can require human approval, and every tool call is logged.
- Does this need a developer?
- Connecting to a system with an existing API or webhook usually does not. Custom integrations may need engineering time on your side or ours.
